Limits of the fixed layout
A long brand or a long model identifier on its own still fits the frame. When the brand and model are both long, or the guarantee duration is a two-digit number with a half year, the text collides or spills past the frame: the artwork prescribed by the EU regulation uses fixed fonts and sizes which, according to the specifications, must not be modified.

Frequently asked questions
Are these GARAN label examples real?
Yes. Each example was rendered live by our generator from the three editable fields, exactly like the label you download yourself. The brand and model names, however, are invented and belong to no real company.
Can I use these example labels?
The examples are for illustration only. For your product, generate your own label with your actual guarantee duration, brand and model identifier in the generator.
Why do some labels look different?
There are three layouts: the colour variant, a black and white variant for print, and a nested variant that shows only the guarantee duration and is meant for space-saving online display.
Do long brand and model names work?
A single long field is fine: if either the brand or the model identifier is long, the generator fits it into the frame. When the brand and model are long at the same time, though, the text collides. The artwork supplied by the EU uses fixed fonts and sizes which, according to the specifications, must not be modified, so shorten one of the two fields in that case.
