GARAN labels for Shopify
Shopify’s product export gives you a CSV with the vendor and SKU already in it. Add the guarantee duration, map three columns, and batch-generate all labels.

Export a product CSV from Shopify
Use the built-in export in the Products area of your admin.

In your Shopify admin, go to Products.

Click Export, then choose which products (all, current page, or a selection).

Select the plain CSV file option and export; you receive the CSV by download or email.

Open the file in a spreadsheet.

Keep the Vendor and SKU (or Handle) columns and add a duration column.
Match the columns to duration, brand and model
The Shopify export already contains the brand and a model identifier. Add the guarantee duration yourself.

Good to know
- The raw Shopify export has one row per variant; keep one row per product you want to label.
- If you track guarantee years in a metafield, include it in the export and rename it to "duration".
- Extra Shopify columns are fine; the generator ignores any column that is not duration, brand or model.
The CSV the generator expects
The generator reads a plain three-column file. Whatever your shop exports, the goal is a table with these columns.
- Three columns named duration, brand and model.
- A header row is optional. With one, the column order does not matter and any extra columns are ignored.
- Comma or semicolon separated, so German spreadsheet exports work as is.
- Guarantee duration greater than two years, whole or half years (for example 3 or 4.5, dot or comma).
- UTF-8 encoded, up to 500 rows per file.
