QR code
Is the GARAN QR code individual?
No. The QR code on the GARAN label is standardised and identical for every product. It points to a single fixed europa.eu page that explains the label in all EU languages. It carries no tracking, is not individualised, and must not be replaced with your own code.
One QR code for everyone
Because the QR code is the same for all products, you do not generate or host anything. Every GARAN label carries the identical, standardised code.
What it links to
It points to a fixed europa.eu page that explains the commercial guarantee of durability in all EU languages, so any shopper reaches an official, neutral explanation.
Common misconceptions
The QR is not a link to your product page, it collects no analytics, and it must not be swapped for a custom code. Online, a clickable link to the same destination is required in addition to it.
