GARAN labels for Kaufland.de
Kaufland.de provides the legal-guarantee notice automatically since September 2026 and renders the GARAN label platform-side once you supply the manufacturer, model and guarantee duration through the seller portal, a feed or the API. The label does not appear in the order-confirmation email, though, and for print or other channels you need it as a file: export your product data, add the guarantee duration, and batch-generate.

Export product data from the Kaufland seller portal
Kaufland.de is fed through the seller portal or a product feed (CSV/API).

Sign in to the Kaufland seller portal (Seller Portal).

Open your products or product-data area and export it (or pull the feed you use to supply Kaufland).

Choose a CSV format for the export.

Keep the EAN and brand columns and add a duration column.
Match the columns to duration, brand and model
Kaufland holds brand and EAN. The EAN works well as a model identifier; you add the guarantee duration.

Good to know
- As of September 2026 Kaufland has implemented the labelling: the legal-guarantee notice is provided automatically in the respective national language, and the GARAN label is rendered platform-side once you supply the manufacturer, model and guarantee duration (Händlerbund marketplace check, September 2026). The label is not included in the order-confirmation email, however; for that, and for print and other channels, generate it as a file with this CSV flow as well.
- Kaufland matches products by EAN; keep it clean, and it doubles as a model identifier.
- You supply Kaufland through the seller portal or a CSV/API feed; the export comes from that source.
- Only products with a guarantee of more than two years need a GARAN label.
Where the label goes on the marketplace
On the Kaufland product page the label appears platform-side once you supply the guarantee data. For the order-confirmation email, which Kaufland does not include the label in, and for other channels, also include the generated label in the listing images you supply through the portal or the feed.
The CSV the generator expects
The generator reads a plain three-column file. Whatever your shop exports, the goal is a table with these columns.
- Three columns named duration, brand and model.
- A header row is optional. With one, the column order does not matter and any extra columns are ignored.
- Comma or semicolon separated, so German spreadsheet exports work as is.
- Guarantee duration greater than two years, whole or half years (for example 3 or 4.5, dot or comma).
- UTF-8 encoded, up to 500 rows per file.
