Export article data from Otto Partner Connect
Otto Market is fed with article data through Partner Connect, directly or via a middleware.

Sign in to Otto Partner Connect.

Open your article-data area and export it (or pull the export from the middleware you use to supply Otto).

Choose a CSV format for the export.

Open the file in a spreadsheet.

Keep the brand and article-number columns and add a duration column.
Match the columns to duration, brand and model
Otto gives you brand and article number. You add the guarantee duration as a column.

Good to know
- According to a Händlerbund survey (February 2026), Otto considers the change technically undemanding and quick to roll out, and will notify merchants in time. Until a platform-side solution is available, add the label to the product images you supply.
- You supply Otto Market through Partner Connect or a connected middleware; the export comes from that source.
- Keep the guarantee years in your master data where possible, so future exports already carry the duration.
- Only products with a guarantee of more than two years need a GARAN label.
Where the label goes on the marketplace
Otto Market assembles your listings from the data and media you supply. Include the generated label in the product images you hand to Otto so it shows in the listing.
The CSV the generator expects
The generator reads a plain three-column file. Whatever your shop exports, the goal is a table with these columns.
- Three columns named duration, brand and model.
- A header row is optional. With one, the column order does not matter and any extra columns are ignored.
- Comma or semicolon separated, so German spreadsheet exports work as is.
- Guarantee duration greater than two years, whole or half years (for example 3 or 4.5, dot or comma).
- UTF-8 encoded, up to 500 rows per file.
