GARAN labels for Otto Market
Otto Market shows the legal-guarantee notice automatically since September 2026 and renders the GARAN label platform-side once you supply the manufacturer, model and guarantee duration through Partner Connect. For package inserts, print and other channels, generate the label as a file as well: export your article data, add the guarantee duration, and batch-generate.

Export article data from Otto Partner Connect
Otto Market is fed with article data through Partner Connect, directly or via a middleware.

Open your article-data area and export it (or pull the export from the middleware you use to supply Otto).

Keep the brand and article-number columns and add a duration column.
Match the columns to duration, brand and model
Otto gives you brand and article number. You add the guarantee duration as a column.

Good to know
- As of September 2026 Otto has implemented the labelling: the legal-guarantee notice appears automatically, and the GARAN label is rendered platform-side once you supply the guarantee data through Partner Connect (Händlerbund marketplace check, September 2026). You still need this CSV flow for a downloadable label file: package inserts, print, other channels, and one consistent label across every channel in a batch.
- You supply Otto Market through Partner Connect or a connected middleware; the export comes from that source.
- Keep the guarantee years in your master data where possible, so future exports already carry the duration.
- Only products with a guarantee of more than two years need a GARAN label.
Where the label goes on the marketplace
On the Otto product page the label appears platform-side once you supply the guarantee data. For every channel beyond the product page, also include the generated label in the product images you hand to Otto.
The CSV the generator expects
The generator reads a plain three-column file. Whatever your shop exports, the goal is a table with these columns.
- Three columns named duration, brand and model.
- A header row is optional. With one, the column order does not matter and any extra columns are ignored.
- Comma or semicolon separated, so German spreadsheet exports work as is.
- Guarantee duration greater than two years, whole or half years (for example 3 or 4.5, dot or comma).
- UTF-8 encoded, up to 500 rows per file.
